Former LSU Tigers and NFL star Justin Vincent and UnitedHealthcare are donating new sports equipment to Cristo Rey Baton Rouge Franciscan High School to replace equipment that was damaged in the 2016 flood. The donation was made possible by a $10,000 grant from UnitedHealthcare to Vincent’s Dreambuilders program. The Dreambuilders Foundation is a non-profit organization that works with pro athletes across the country to help financially, physically and mentally challenged kids receive the items, opportunities and equipment they need to achieve their dreams. Founded by former NFL linebacker Akin Ayodele, Dreambuilders partners with athletes to “captain” one or more of its programs benefiting kids in the athlete’s city of choice.

Vincent will be at the school Thursday, April 26 at 2 p.m.  with UnitedHealthcare leaders and students to dedicate and demonstrate the new equipment.
