Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee in New Roads has added an engineering class to its curriculum. Offered as a Louisiana State University dual-enrollment class, students have the opportunity to take an Introduction to Engineering class. The class will count as a high school credit or as a college credit. Taught by Lillian Reyad, the class allows students to explore the profession of engineering through lectures, collaborative projects, technical writing and presentations.
